Events Crew Limited are an Events Management and infrastructure provider.

We are a busy and diverse organisation who own an array of stock including fencing, barriers, Generator, Tower lights, Ground Protection Mats, Drinking Water Bowsers, Accommodation and Welfare units and much more.

We also own and operate a fleet of vehicles. Offering hire, sales, delivery, installation, de-rig and buy back on all elements.

We are looking for the Store Person to help maintain tidiness and order at our facilities.

This is an important role to ensure we are stocked with all consumables we need and everything is stored in a timely order.

This ensures the efficiency of the day to day running of the business.

This is a full-time role based in Henstridge.

The role would involve, but is not limited to, the following:

Assist and operate our goods in/ goods out area.
Preparing tools and accessories to go on hire.
Washing and cleaning vehicles.
Organising the workshop and stores area.
Keeping yard and stores tidy and general duties
Dealing with sales collections from customers and deliveries from suppliers.
Collection/Delivery of parts from suppliers (clean driving license preferred)
Monitoring vehicle equipment & stock levels
Providing support to our event teams

Essential Skills:

Good numeracy and communication skills.
Being able to work by yourself and as part of a team.
Willingness to work extra hours during busy periods.
Motivated and reliable.
Ability to use a pallet truck.
Interested in learning about our business and the Events industry as well as the services that we offer.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable attributes:

Plant and Machinery Operator including Telehandlers and Forklifts
Active and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
Previous experience in a role of this nature.
Polite and personable as this is a customer facing role.
A 'cando' attitude.
Tidy and methodical with an eye for quality
Ability to take instruction as well as work on own initiative

About you
We are looking for someone reliable, proactive, with good communication skills. It is also important that you are highly organised and work well in a team.

If you have prior experience in facilities maintenance and caretaking, we especially want to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our growing team.

The role is based on being Monday - Friday from 07:30 - 17:30 with overtime available in the summer season and the opportunity to expand to Saturday working.

Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
