About the Business


The business are a large, multi-billion pound multi-national with lots of long term growth opportunities, in a multi-disciplined and exciting industry It really is an interesting business.


Working Pattern
This is a hybrid working pattern based in Birmingham with two/three days in office and the rest from home.


Main Duties:


  • You'll be leading the business Group Budget, Forecasts and Long Term Strategic Plans whilst also supporting Local Finance Teams with local plans and submission to group.
  • You will also improve processes and deliver forecast data and scenario modelling. Supporting the Executive with Scenario modelling and option assessment around Group Strategy
  • You'll be leading the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes. You'll collaborate closely with local finance teams, providing handson support and ensuring smooth plan submissions.
  • Present plan data to the Finance Leadership, including the Group Finance Director, Divisional Finance Directors, and local FP&A teams. Your clear and concise communication will guide strategic decisions and drive growth.
  • Refine and develop modelling techniques and processes to streamline forecasting and improve its accuracy.
  • Share your expertise and empower local finance teams. You'll provide training and support, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone contributes to robust and accurate planning.
  • This business is agile and forwardthinking. You'll contribute to the continuous refinement of the strategic plan, adapting to new opportunities and market changes.
  • You'll create and analyse various scenarios, assess strategic options, and consider macroeconomic factors to inform robust decisionmaking.
  • Analyse M&A options, optimise legal entity structures, ensure accurate transaction accounting, and even advise on dividend planning, ensuring financial viability across the board.
