Description
We have an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to join our Single Point of Access Team.


You will be expected to provide an efficient, effective administration service to the SPOA team assisting them in meeting quality standards & targets in order to deliver excellent patient care.


Please note there will be a shift pattern to cover the needs of the service, as the service runs from 8am till 7pm Monday to Friday.

This advert is for a part time post working 21 hours per week.

Monitor the referral inbox and incoming post / facsimile for referrals.

Process referral information on to e-patient registration system upon receipt of referral.

Ensure all required information available i.e. patient demographic information, reason for referral, urgency of referral, referrer details; liaising with the referrer as necessary or instructed.

Cross reference referrals on IAPTus (Psychological Therapy Patient Management System).

Referral passed to triage clinician for screening.

Update local referral database at each stage of the process.

To undertake scanning and photocopying as identified / requested.

To ensure follow-up actions are undertaken as identified.

Effective management of telephone calls including queries.
