:

We are looking for a Group Leader to join our HBU Operations Team.

A vacancy has arisen within the Hydraulic Business Unit for a Production Group Leader.

The position will report to the Production Manager.

This role requires an individual with concise communication skills, a high level of self-motivation with a sense of urgency, a pro-active approach to problem solving and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

The successful applicant will support production operations and must possess the ability to react to ever changing situations in a fast-paced environment.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

To ensure compliance to all relevant Welfare, Health and Safety legislation and policies.
Effective investigations and robust close out of any safety concerns/incidents.
Implementation of quality standards and the closure of corrective actions using structured problemsolving techniques.
Deliver production/manufacturing targets in line with business requirements and budgets.
Continuous improvement through the deployment of the JCB Production System.
To control area spend in line with variable budgets.
Coordination of daily Team Leader activities.
People management, including absence and performance management.
Development of people and identifying development needs.
