Responsibilities:

As a Software Consultant, you'll specialize in supporting clients' R&D Tax Credit and Innovation Incentive claims by consulting on their groundbreaking projects.


  • Client Management: Work with clients to understand their R&D tax credit needs and identify potential areas of eligibility.
  • Tax Credit Analysis: Analyze client financial statements, technical reports, and other relevant documents to identify potential areas of R&D tax credit eligibility.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation to support the R&D tax credit claim, including technical reports, financial calculations, and other relevant documents.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work products meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Stay uptodate with changes in tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits, and ensure that all work is completed in compliance with these laws and regulations.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Educational or professional background in Software, Computer Science or Data
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze complex financial and technical data, identify patterns and trends, and draw insights and conclusions is critical for success in this role.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are essential for an R&D Tax Consultant, including the ability to communicate complex tax concepts and value propositions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Attention to Detail: An R&D Tax Consultant must have a keen eye for detail, and be able to identify and document qualifying activities and expenditures with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Project Management: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and activities, and meet deadlines is critical for success in this role.
  • Technical Expertise recognised as an expert in own discipline.
  • Professionalism & Ethics competently acts in the best interest of the client and team.
