Fraud Risk Officer

Up to £45,000 dependant on experience

Your role with us:

The primary role of the Fraud & Risk Officer is to manage the Fraud, Risk and Payment flows across our business platforms.

The role will involve utilising 3rd party KYC providers, as well as developing and implementing a range of detection techniques in-order to identify high risk accounts, detect unusual activity, investigate, and manage suspicious accounts or transactions to mitigate risk and protect both consumers as well as revenue losses to the business.

The role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong decision making and an ability to manage workload effectively and in a timely manner.

We are looking for people who have:

Strong analytical experience within a fraud prevention role, with experience and knowledge from the financial services industry
Experience working in a Financial Crime Compliance or Risk Team at a regulated firm with an understanding of fraud and money muling risks associated with banking
Experience of ensuring that strategic and operational business risks are identified and assessed
Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing a riskbased audit plan and audit methodology.

We are looking for people who are:

Familiar with Consumer Duty and the impact that fraud can have on customers and innocent victims
Comfortable reviewing data to identify patterns and trends to draw conclusions and associated recommendations that improve fraud capabilities
Able to work independently and with changing priorities
