IT Field Engineer (3D Print)

Northampton / Harrow Region


As part of one of our longest standing and strategic partnerships, Hemmersbach assist HP, supporting their commercial clients' computing, printers and MFPs with our network of dedicated experts in break/fix support services.


An emerging technology that is finding its place within both the private and commercial sector, is that of specialist 3D Printers.

These modern marvels adapt to many of today fabrication needs - be that replacement parts for other equipment, 3D Modellingto support everything from product prototyping to Marketing and beyond.


As an expert in your field, you will receive dedicated training and on-the-job support and you learn how to not only diagnose symptoms that have occurred, but to actively Break/Fix these printers in the field wherever possible.


The UK & Ireland are covered by 3 specific regions, covering the North, The Midlands and North London, as well as the South coast.

This position is ideally suited to an engineer based within daily reach of customers, covering the region between Northampton/Coventry& Watford/Harrow.

There is the occasional requirement to support a customer in Ireland, but the vast majority of your year, will be working within the normal regional boundaries.


Working within this designated support area, we provide you with all you need, from company car & fuel-card to mobile phone, laptop, tools etc.

Beyond the occasional exception, which may involve a more remote client site, you'll enjoy a normal Monday-Friday,40hr week with us.


Initial training will include a 1-week programme in Barcelona followed by a similar course at our engineering base in Poland.

As such, we ask that you hold a valid passport for these.


What we look for:


  • Previous experience in the delivery of IT support services, specifically within break/fix and ideally with some exposure to 3D printing.
  • Confidence in addressing break/fix issues
  • Comfortable working within a reasonablysized region of the UK & occasional trips to Ireland
