THE OPPORTUNITY


We are seeking a P6 Planner to join the newly created PMO team for a 3 month contract, reporting to the Head of PMO.

The role will be required to create detailed project schedules for each project in the Zenobē delivery portfolio from scratch, in alignment with the standard project timelines.

The project schedules are comprised of internally delivered activities and supplier delivered activities, to present the end-to-end integrated view of delivery.

Each schedule will require a baseline, with time and materials loading, integrated with SAP.


The role will also be required to manage bi-weekly/monthly project review meetings with the Project Team to review delivery progress and capture updates on the project schedule and financials, followed by analytics and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the new PMO planning function, supporting a portfolio of approx. 20+ projects with medium/high complexity.


This is a hybrid role, working 2 days from our London office and the rest of the time from home.

There is potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.


A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY

  • Leads the creation of detailed logic linked project schedules in P6, with an initial baseline and time and materials loading.
  • Good working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, and project controls methodologies.
  • Manages the biweekly/monthly project review meetings with the Project Team to review delivery progress and capture updates on project schedules and financials, as well as assessing the impact of risk and change on the plan.
  • Proactively validates and challenges schedule, cost and risk inputs to influence the critical path analysis.
  • Ability to analyse data and communicate updates effectively in reports, presenting robust/quality plans to enable informed decision making.
  • Liaise with the Finance function to ensure alignment between the WBS-CBS mapping for accurate cost loading.
  • Collaborate with the internal delivery team and external suppliers where necessary to align all stakeholder and ensure accuracy of inputs.
  • Advocate best practice project planning procedures across the business to drive continuous improvement.

Essential

  • Expert user of Primavera P6 with full training and significant experience in a planning role

Desirable

  • APMG Project Planning & Control Foundation and Practitioner, or PRINCE
  • NEC Contract awareness
