Driver's Mate (Croydon)


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods during deliveries.
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the driver.
  • Help navigate and provide directions to the driver, if necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide friendly and professional service.
  • Handle paperwork and documentation related to deliveries.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for completing paperwork.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of Croydon area and surrounding locations is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Driver's Mate is beneficial.
