Description

The post holder will be responsible for the management and performance of the D&I Technical services including End User Compute, Networks and Systems Infrastructure services.

The post holder will be expected to work with Senior Managers across D&I, the Trust and the wider Devon ICS.

Provide effective management of the teams within the Technical Services function, ensuring a reliable, resilient and high performing infrastructure. Ensure effective IT service management and supplier management.

Provide assurance that D&I services are secure and compliant with relevant legislation. Support organisational change, innovation, and excellence. Support the Trusts long and short-term strategic intentions by developing the infrastructure and capacity. Provide expertise of best practice methodologies, regulatory requirements, policy imperatives, innovation, and technological developments.

Manage key risks. Ensure good financial management (revenue and capital), including service recharging where appropriate, contract management, asset management and budget management.
