We have an amazing opportunity available working for one of London's largest authorities as an Employee Relations Advisor/Assistant.

About the job


As an Employee Relations Advisor you would provide values driven first point of contact case management support for our line managers on individual employee relations issues in line with our people policies and employment law.

Supporting line managers onindividual employee relations issues and advise on interpretation of HR policy, procedure, and best practice to provide timely advice to managers during hearing adjournments and maintaining accurate and up to date records of all actions and documentation relatingto cases.

  • Location: Hybrid/3 days based in Southwark Office


  • Monday

  • Friday 9:00 am 5:00 pm
  • Daily Rate: £260 PAYE/£351.56 UMBRELLA per day. ?
Contract Duration: 6 MONTHS


  • Start Date: ASAP

Skills, Knowledge and Experience??

  • HR experience, including a background in employee relations and case management
  • Relevant and uptodate knowledge of current employment law and ACAS best practice
  • Knows how to maintain and monitor HR systems to ensure accuracy of data
  • Understands employee lifecycle and HR policies and procedures for effective use to the business
  • Experience of working in a complex, highly unionised environment in a partnership approach with Trade Unions
  • Experience of coaching managers on complex cases
  • Professionally qualified, e.g., higher level degree or equivalent (desirable)
The role is for 6 months, hybrid working, 3 days based in Southwark, paying £260 PAYE/£351.56 UMBRELLA per day. ?
