Operations Supervisor

Salary:
Up to £37,000 per annum with an annual performance bonus, plus Veolia benefits and pension


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week


Location:
Based at St.
Albans, AL4 0JYwith travel required to the Basildon depot where required

What you'll be doing;

  • Conducting risk assessment across all operational functions at the depot
  • Deliver induction training for new starters with a specific focus on Drivers
  • Deliver toolkit rollouts
  • Monitor and review any accident/incident investigations working collaboratively with R&A
  • Ensure HAVs testing for sites
  • Complete driver observations in line with VMR
  • Review annually RA folder / COSHH or following a change in legislation or Veolia operating policy
  • Maintain the Environmental logbook compliance for Legionella control
  • Visit customer's sites to support any H&S concerns raised through AVA
  • Conduct monthly management site checks

What we're looking for;

  • An understanding of Environmental legislation and experience in dealing with the EA
  • Previous experience operating within an operational capacity with a focus on H&S within a similar industry
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to organise resources and manage labour to meet operational demands
  • Knowledge of working with a quality management system e.g. ISO
  • Managing transport compliance experience
  • Experienced IT Skills, MS Office 2000 and the ability to adapt to Google
