We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our Administrative team.

In return for your enthusiasm, you will be supported to develop your skills and will have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally as part of a 'high challenge, high support' environment.


Main Duties:

To provide administration and clerical support on the unit ensuring that an efficient communications system is in operation


Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and communication skills working effectively as part of a team within a hospital environment with patients, visitors, relatives as well as medical, nursing and therapies staff.

To ensure patient records/information is accurately recorded on to the patient's information system.


Deal with administrative arrangements in connection with the admission and discharge of patients; ensuring records are kept up to date.

Use of initiative and ability to prioritise own work.

Deal with requests for medical notes from archive and file store.


To liaise with senior nursing staff regarding forthcoming staffing requirements for Bank and or Agency staff and to assist with booking and recording appropriate cover.

To assist maintaining an accurate filing system for case notes on site

To assist in dealing with deceased patients property. m) Maintain accurate computer records and information on the computer system
