This opportunity is for a Fixed Term Contract to last until February 2024.


We are currently looking to appoint a Field Service Controller to join our head office Hire & Service team in Harrogate.


What you'll be doing
As part of our expanding team you will manage a busy workload of breakdown calls.

This desk-based role will involve working with our customers to deliver excellent customer service, turning around the repair of our hire equipment in a timely and efficient manner.


You will also be required to schedule our field service engineers to optimise swift resolution and minimise downtown for our customers.


Experience & Skills required:


  • Knowledge of equipment desirable not essential
  • Knowledge of hire industry desirable not essential
  • Customer service experience essential
  • Experience of communicating / schedule engineering resource desirable
  • Requires good keyboard skills and MS Office knowledge
  • Telephone skills are essential
