Description

We are currently recruiting a Senior Accountant on behalf of a client based in Newmarket, this role will initially start on full time hours but with a view to reduce to 3-4 days a week in the longer term.

This role will provide financial accounting and data analysis to the Senior Management Team, this position will cover a variety of duties across finance and general office administration.

The main duties are as follows

  • Financial accounting including weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Leading on month and year end processes
  • Producing the VAT returns
  • Analysis of company data to support business decisions
  • Provide information and be the main contact for auditors.
  • Attending weekly management meetings
  • Fire marshal duties
  • Managing all insurance renewals
