Description
A sports and events focussed business and a true leader in their sector are recruiting for a
Part-Qualified/Finalist level Management Accountantfor their
FP&A team of 7 people, this role is a
9 month fixed term position where a more permanent position could be considered in the medium term

The main "thrust" of the role will be budget controlling, forecasting for their events and providing financial insight around business related analysis aswell as ensuring a clean process around month end


Key responsibilities:


  • Budget control and forecasting for internal stakeholders and the sporting events that the companys owns/runs
  • Dashboard reporting including variance analysis
  • Month end close of allocated business areas
  • Cash flow forecasting and other FP&A related tasks.

You will be/have:


  • A part qualified/Finalist level ACCA, CIMA, ACA (etc) likely with a few exams left.
  • You'll be an experienced/well versed accountant with good exposure around management accounts and month end.
  • Experience around delivering insight around variance analysis and budgets would be an advtantage
  • Strong excel experience
  • Be interested in taking your "next step" forward from your management accounts skillset and be able to provide commercial insight for senior management / cost centre budget holders (eg ticketing, legal, hospitality)
Fully remote working cannot be considered.

**Salary £40-45,000 + benefits (9 month fixed term contract)
