About Our Client:

Our client are a well established Logistics business based in Trafford Park, they are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for a Officer Planner to join their team.

Duties of the Officer Planner will be:

As right and left hand of the planner, you are responsible for the daily follow-up of the drivers 'on the road'.
If something goes wrong en route, you will be the point of contact. You mediate, adjust and in consultation with your colleagues and the planner you adapt.
During the trip, you are the indispensable liaison between the driver and the customer, who you consistently inform.
If the situation requires it, you review the outlined planning in consultation with the planner.
Step by step and depending on your personal growth/learning curve you will be given complete planning assignments on which you can work independently.

The Successful Applicant:

Ideally customer focused experience, from a logistics/transportation background is desirable
Can speak a European Language is desirable but not essential
Strong Interpersonal skills to maintain relationships
