We are working on behalf of an expanding Management and Technology Consultancy looking to take on a
Lead Cyber Security Consultant.
The role provides you with the opportunity to lead multiple, small consulting teams in their support of a wide range of high-profile UK public sector and defence organisations.
Join an established business practice with ongoing projects and high demand for services.Responsibilities:
- Your help protects customers' ICT investments and contributes to nationally critical projects with reallife impacts.
- Responsibilities include overseeing outputs of multiple small Consulting teams, engaging senior customer stakeholders, and supporting Consulting personnel.
- Support the mentoring and development of staff while fostering business growth through existing customer engagement and pursuing new opportunities.
Project requirements involve expertise in:
- Providing advice and guidance on Information Assurance topics.
- Developing IA strategies, policies, guidance, and awareness.
- Planning and managing security work programs.
- Defining security requirements.
- Designing and implementing security architectures.
- Overseeing secure development and accreditation of information systems.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Lead Cyber Security Consultant or in a similar role.
- Experience in complex ICT systems security in a technical delivery or consulting capacity within the UK Public / Government Sector or Defence
- A good understanding of enterprise information and communications technology
- The ability to present and justify conclusions to project teams and business stakeholders
- Proven abilities in delivering to client expectations and requirements
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Desirable:
- Enterprise security packages, security enforcing software and devices, such as identity management and federation, cryptography, public key infrastructure, firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability scanning, etc.
- Security, technical and enterprise architecture methods such as TOGAF and SABSA
- Structured security frameworks, such as HMG SPF and ISO2700
- Software development and delivery
- ICT service delivery, including ITIL
- Technical risk assessments
