Are you a Senior Conference Producer looking to take the next step in your career?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Event Content to join Informa Markets in Amsterdam or London, driving live content offerings for the world's leading pharmaceutical exhibition.
With 8 annual exhibitions taking place across the globe, CPHI brings together buyers and sellers of pharma products, solutions, and services at every step of the global supply chain.
In-person events are back in force, and the role of content in providing opportunities to learn, connect and share best practices has never been more important.
We are looking for somebody driven and tenacious, with the ability to seek out opportunities and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
You will have excellent influencing skills, be enthusiastic and open to new ideas, and possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with our Marketing, Brand, Logistics and Sales teams.
In the role of Head of Event Content, you will be responsible for developing and delivering live content features including conferences, seminars, awards ceremonies, start-up pitches and networking events at two annual exhibitions in the EMEA region.
You will also manage the Senior Conference Producer for our North America event, and an Event Executive - who will support you with event delivery.
This role has three key pillars:
Event Content Strategy and Development
To design, develop and execute commercially viable live content features based on in-depth market research. Content features should be a key driver for engagement and revenue.
You will take the lead on programming for Pharmapack Europe and CPHI MEA - from setting the content strategy, through to delivering the event on-site.
Market Research and Stakeholder Engagement
To become an expert in your field through conducting comprehensive research into the relevant market.
You will develop a solid understanding of the Pharma marketplace and be able to identify the most pressing issues and opportunities across various geographies, finding the commercial angle.
You will develop important relationships with key industry stakeholders and be able to acquire top-level speakers for content programmes.Leadership
You will work alongside the Content Director - Pharma to set the event content strategy, and take on management of two direct reports, one Content Executive and one Senior Content Producer.
This is a diverse role where no two days look the same, your daily tasks will include:
Content Development- Producing validated, commercially driven and editorially sound agendas for both in-person, virtual and hybrid events, and content offerings.
Digital Events
- Managing event technologies and webinar platforms
Speaker Acquisition
- Sourcing and securing the participation of highlevel industryleading speakers
Topic validation - Testing topics via research calls with the primary market

Content creation - Working with the wider team to identify and develop content pieces with speakers, thought leaders and key accounts for use in marketing campaigns and online to promote assigned features.

Project Management
- Driving the project team of marketing, sales, and logistics managers to deliver content programmes to deadline and budget
On-site Delivery
- Meticulous onsite execution of conferences to exceptional standards of customer service
Sponsorship Strategy - Working towards achieving assigned revenue targets for sponsorship, including developing several packages and working closely with the Sales Team and key accounts to ensure uptake

Account Management - Once sponsorship contracts are signed, take on responsibility for delivery of all content-related points - including liaison with the client pre-event, on-site and post-event.
