Atkinson Moss are pleased to be supporting our client with the appointment of a new Financial Controller, as they seek to add further experience to their already strong SLT.

An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join this business at a pivotal point in the organisations growth journey. This role will oversee the development of a small finance function and become an influential member of the managementteam.

Accountabilities;

Production of monthly management accounts, overhauling existing processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of results.
Balance sheet review and reconciliations with ownership of queries and differences.
Ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process.
Cashflow and working capital planning and management.
Developing and leading the finance team (3)
Developing and implementing appropriate financial and nonfinancial reporting including lead indicators to management and the board.
Production of statutory accounts and owning the relationship with accountants and auditors.
Work with the FD to identify operating efficiencies whilst reviewing and streamline accounting functions.
Constructive challenge to management and executive team on all financial aspects of the business.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Qualified accountant
Accustomed to working in fast paced entrepreneurial environments.
Accustomed to working independently and able to prioritise and focus resources to deliver on key objectives.
Ability to influence at management and board level.
ERP systems experience.
Strong attention to detail, solution focused and pragmatic.
