This will include the provision of training tools for first line staff, policy and process mapping management in line with current processes, driving process efficiencies.


You will also drive a positive overall employee experience, working with InHealth Operations and HR managers to escalate challenges, highlight hotspots areas for focus, support ongoing manager education and system and policy improvements.


Responsible for the maintenance of the HR systems; scoping, building and delivering people reporting for the NHS requirements and HR and business stakeholders.

Responsible for process and system improvements, system maintenance and robot processing automation to help promote more efficiency and reduce the administration duties.


Maintain the accuracy of the HR system to ensure one source of truth and ensure it communicates with other systems within the organisation that require accurate and timely management of information.

Continue to keep the HR system/HR communication tool up to date and review impact analysis in line with current processes.

As part of this the role will be responsible for adding additional functionality and maintain the process maps connected with its activity.

Develop improvements across the current HR systems to ensure they are being used to their full potential.


What you will do in this role:


Employee Experience:


  • Provide expert advice, guidance and training on the HR systems to employees and stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Work alongside the People Services Management team to improve processes and develop current systems further.
  • Manage a positive relationship between IT and HR for all HR systems, to ensure excellent employee experience on new starter, change and leaver processes.
  • Support and/or lead on system based activities including implementation, integration of TUPE or acquired employees into the systems, maintenance and upgrades and other processes or improvements as required.

HR Operational:


  • Further developing and maintaining auditing processes, ISO9001/27001 data security and governance, maintaining the process asset register, delivering training and support to system and process users.
  • Ensure timely HR System processing for Payroll and Finance to meet KPIs and produce data analytics for the People Operations report, CQC or audit purposes as needed.
  • Proactively and continuously develop/maintain iTrent, Inspire and Jira (including upgrades, data conversions, configuration, security, workflows, housekeeping and user audit process) in order to better add value and promote timesaving initiatives across InHealth for employees, managers and People Services Teams, working closely with the Payroll manager in relation to iTrent.
  • Ensuring templates are loaded and processed accurately by the HR Systems, looking for opportunities for automation and best practice.
  • Use business objects to build and maintain governance reports including 5 year DBS, Pay Review, Bonus cycle, Border Agency Audits, and support the team with any required statutory reporting, including providing support to PIR's for the CQC.
  • Deliver against all statutory and NHS contractual requirements for People Management e.g. HCPC competency requirements, statutory and mandatory training reporting, Appraisal's and PDPs, KPI reports, Gender Pay, WRES, WDES and WMDS submissions.
  • Monitor, audit and maintain the quality of information held in iTrent, including ensuring regular and systematic data cleansing and housekeeping within teams.
  • Ensure all process maps and working instructions are up to date and training plans are reflective of these. Ensure all members of the team complete training for all processes and systems.
  • Ensure reports in business objects are fully up to date with any changes made in the iTrent system to ensure correct data sets.
  • Have system administration knowledge for the HRIS system to be able to maintain.

  • Ensure that our HRIS reflects all reward, benefit, contractual terms and conditions to ensure accurate recording, automation and workflows work correctly
  • Support the payroll team in managing the reporting for the InHealth InJoy benefits and rewards platform and maintain relationships with the relevant IT team for the transfer of data to other platforms

Continuous Performance Improvements:


  • Maintaining and improving the communication tool e.g. Service Now
  • Using manager feedback, you will continuously review the user experience to support the efficient delivery of the people needs of our customers
  • Use feedback and best practice for HR operations to recommend and implement process effici
