Maintenance Assistant Job Summary

Maintenance Assistant responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform a variety of general maintenance duties across the site
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests
  • Planned and Preventive maintenance duties
  • Comply with all Health and safety regulations
  • Diagnose & troubleshoot issues
  • Work with and maintain relationships with contractors

Maintenance Assistant qualifications and skills

  • Positive 'Can Do' attitude
  • 2+ years' maintenance experience
  • Willingness to work outside normal work hours when required
  • Ability to work well under mínimal supervision
  • Capacity to take direction
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend, kneel, stoop and lift or move heavy equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents.
  • Plumbing/Electrical experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong customer service skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£22,500.00-£24,000.00 per year
