Description

We have a new opportunity for a Finance Team Leader to join the growing Streetspace team based at our Hythe offices in Kent.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a hands-on role maintaining the accounts payable and accounts receivable, supervising a small team and working with the Finance Manager to produce accurate financial information in a timely manner.

What the Role Involves

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Effectively leading and managing a team of three, providing guidance, support and performance feedback.
Ensuring purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations are updated accurately and on time.
Keeping cashflow forecast updated.
Working with auditors to resolve audit queries.
Monitoring accounts inbox to ensure all internal company queries are responded to.
Reviewing of journals to ensure their accuracy for accounting as per accounting policy.
Assessing transactions for correct treatments for national and international VAT and CIS purposes.
Processing intercompany transactions and credit card statements.
Statutory processes including VAT and CIS account reconciliation, and submission to HMRC.
ONS survey submissions.
Other adhoc duties required by the management

About You

Purchase Ledger experience
Previous experience supervising a team
Experience of CIS Government Scheme beneficial
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in the use of Excel and Sage

Salary & Benefits

Based at our Head Office in Hythe, this is a full time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, great workspaces and a friendly, open working environment.

Monday to Friday 8:30pm to 5:00pm
24 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays)

- £38k - £45k DOE
