We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for someone to join the administration team for the Curriculum and Education Development Academy (CEDA) at Lancaster University.


As CEDA Programmes Officer you will work closely with the Programmes and Events Manager to provide a high level of administration for the successful planning and delivery of CEDA's accredited academic programmes, this also includes line management of the CEDA Administrative Assistant.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the CEDA accredited programmes (Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Practice [PGCEP];

Advancing Teaching:
Lancaster Accreditation Scheme [ATLAS] and Associate Teacher Programme [ATP]).


The ability to work effectively, independently or as part of a team, whilst planning and prioritising workloads effectively in order to manage the competing demands of the role, meeting set deadlines, is essential.

Also working accurately and under pressure, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and cultural contexts.

The ability to undertake all aspects of committee servicing is also key to this role.


You will liaise with potential participants, participants and related staff, at Lancaster and the International Teaching Partnerships on the accredited programmes, signposting and advising on programme eligibility; monitoring, tracking and reporting on participants progress, communicating relevant programme requirements in line with university policy and processes.
