Working in the Project Fresh Department, you'll play an important role in the development of the internal store design from both a national and international perspective.

Working closely with the Project Director and Team, your varied role will give you the opportunity to drive innovation in order to change the way Aldi customers shop in our stores.

From the micro (assisting in the design and implementation of fixtures and equipment) to the macro (analysis of store layout trials), and everything in between, your positive and conscientious attitude will play an important role throughout.

With the vast amount of projects and the fast nature of this deadline-driven business, naturally you will need to be efficient, well organised and multi-task minded.

That may sound like a lot but, in return, you'll enjoy the chance to put forward your ideas and have an impact on not only the entire Aldi UK store estate, but also all Aldi South countries.

Ever wondered how we plan for the future? On this Placement you'll work within the Acquisitions and Analytics department concentrating on our future portfolio.

You can expect to spend time with the National team as well as visiting certain sites of interest to understand our plans for expansion and the metrics we consider for choosing the best locations for our stores.

From assessing our current store performances to analysing competitor shifts, you'll learn all aspects of acquisition and the challenges we face.

You will also be involved in the budgeting / planning of the new stores pipeline and property projects, analysing risk and monitoring proposed investments.

You'll need to think strategically, be efficient and be a great communicator. Our portfolio is constantly evolving - this is your chance to be part of that journey.

Please note our Placement Programmes are for university students currently studying towards an undergraduate degree, who are seeking a 12-month sandwich placement before their final year of study.
**You'll need to be working towards a 2:1 degree, have 96 UCAS points from your top 3 A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications), possess a driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.
