Key responsibilities:

Supporting with the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual external consolidation reporting for the Group
Working alongside the Group M&A function, providing ad hoc technical accounting support for M&A deals.
Working with different teams within the group to develop new reporting formats and analytical tools
Providing key technical accounting guidance across the Group, as well as ensuring the manual of accounting is updated
Ensuring integrity of the consolidated monthly results which are then presented to the business units
Ensuring delivery of high quality and accurate financial information for the Senior Management Team
Working closely with the FP&A function to support the delivery of the Group Reporting of forecasts and budgets
A Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), with extensive experience working in complex, matrix organisations
Experience working within a group function would be advantageous
Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
Extensive understanding of accounting principles and strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards
Excellent attention to detail and IT skills, including Excel
An inquisitive mindset where you continuously seek process improvement and can work independently
