Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a primary school setting
  • Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver targeted interventions
  • Providing onetoone support to pupils as required
  • Helping pupils to develop their social, emotional, and behavioural skills
  • Managing and supporting small groups of pupils
  • Keeping accurate records of pupils' progress and sharing this information with teachers and parents
  • Experience of working with SEMH pupils in a primary school setting
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification
  • A good understanding of the needs of SEMH pupils
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
  • A positive and proactive approach to their work
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold previous experience working within SEN
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
