Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a primary school setting
- Working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver targeted interventions
- Providing onetoone support to pupils as required
- Helping pupils to develop their social, emotional, and behavioural skills
- Managing and supporting small groups of pupils
- Keeping accurate records of pupils' progress and sharing this information with teachers and parents
- Experience of working with SEMH pupils in a primary school setting
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification
- A good understanding of the needs of SEMH pupils
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A positive and proactive approach to their work
- Hold previous experience working within SEN
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
