Do you want to help build the confidence, aspiration and ambition of young people in Sheffield? Can you make information about learning and work easy to understand?

Sheffield Futures is a dynamic, independent charity, supporting communities and helping young people to achieve their full potential in learning, employment and life.

We are a values driven charity that embraces flexible working with a range of sector leading benefits for our sector leading employees.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified career development professional to join our team.

This role includes delivering face to face career interventions, organising and delivering events and group sessions for young people and professionals, writing and developing resources and helping promote our careers guidance services through social media and marketing communications.

You'll have experience of running projects autonomously and will be responsible for writing our annual "Options" brochure, so excellent research skills and attention to detail is essential.

Being proactive, managing your own time and being organised are also key elements of this role, as you will manage both schoolwork and internal advisory work.

In return, you'll have lots of support from a great team of Careers Advisers; be part of our ongoing programme of professional development and be able to join the Career Development Institute Register of Careers Professionals.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check.

Under the Disability Confident standard, disabled applicants, who meet the essential criteria for this job, will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, talent and abilities at an interview.

We reserve the right to close this recruitment process early.
