Are you a friendly project manager with experience in running academic research programmes? Are you looking to work for an incredible not-for-profit organisation that has a fantastic work life balance, with 4 days a week worked from home? Then this Academic Research Advisor position could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This Academic Research Advisor position is a full-time permanent opportunity working 35 hours a week. The position is based from home 4 days a week, with one day in the office. The role is paying a salary of up to £36,000 with a discretionary bonus on top. Their office is based near High Wycombe.


What will I be doing in the Academic Research Advisor Position?

  • Delivering the academic research strategy.
  • Helping to support the firms core products and services with researchbased evidence.
  • Helping academics develop world leading research.
  • Communicating research to external stakeholders and increasing engagement.
  • Monitoring the impact of academic research and identifying future opportunities.

What skills are required?

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Experience of running a research programme.
  • Understanding of academic research and methodologies.
  • An understanding of academic research and how this can benefit professions and professionals.
  • Fantastic verbal communication skills.
  • Great writing skills and the ability to summarise academic research so that all stakeholders can understand it.
  • Project management skills.
  • Great relationship building and teamwork skills.
  • Experience within academia.
