Purpose of the Job:
To provide safe, high-quality education and care for early years children.
To embed the Vision and Ethos behind Little Acorns Herne Pre-school. To adhere to all Policies.
To ensure that all statutory, legal and setting obligations are followed and met.

Principal accountability:
Responsibilities
To support the Manager & Deputy Manager as required
Embed our Vision statement throughout the setting
Liaise and engage with Parents
To act as an excellent role model.
To ensure all policies are adhered to and support their development
Take on the responsibility for organising small activities.
To understand and adhere to staff: child ratios at all times.
Child Development
- Ability to meet the needs of each child, and to ensure they can reach their full potential.
To meet all Ofsted EYFS requirements
To be an effective Key person
To understand the importance of assessing and observing individual children
Training -
To undertake any training required to ensure your knowledge meets the needs of all current children.
To aspire to further educate and develop your qualifications.
