Description
Background

Kegspertise Logistics Ltd provides a National container collection service to the UK Brewing industry. The containers consist of kegs, casks and gas cylinders used for the dispense of beer products in pubs.


These assets often stray from traditional supply routes that are visible to the Brewing Industry making it difficult for the normal return to the owning Brewer.

This results in an ongoing requirement for an independent organisation to proactively collect these assets and sort them prior to return to the owner.


Operating from Crigglestone Industrial Estate, Crigglestone, Wakefield WF4 3HT, a small independent team will proactively collect containers from pre advised locations in Northern England.

The containers will be deposited at the site and will be categorised by size, type and owner. Once sorted the containers will either be delivered back to the owner or the owner will self collect.

Main Duties

  • Manually sorting any containers collected once returned to the Yard
  • Sorting Containers using a Counterbalance FLT
  • Loading and unloading vehicles ranging from small vans to HGV's both manually and using a Counterbalance FLT
  • Up keeping of all necessary paper and electronic records associated with vehicles, collections, deliveries, stock keeping etc...
  • Basic supervision of a small team
  • Coordination of customer collection activity from site
  • Completing various admin tasks such as timesheets, holiday requests, vehicle damage checks
  • Liaising with senior management regarding daily tasks and issues
  • Liaising with the central Planning Team
  • Other basic supervisory duties related to the running of the yard
Necessary Skills

  • Counterbalance FLT license
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills (internal & External customers)
  • First Aider (Training can be provided)

Salary:
£12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Crigglestone Industrial Estate (required)
