Seeking an Associate Director of Project Management to join a reputable, international multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Birmingham.


As an Associate Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of the company and for leading and delivering a first class project management service to meet the needs of Clients.

You will be servicing exciting projects with a hands on approach throughout the project life cycle, from inception to completion.


CANDIDATE

  • Demonstrable relevant Project Management and Account Leadership experience.
  • To manage individual projects autonomously, ensuring that the highest levels of accuracy and quality are achieved at all times.
- (Desirable) Be a MRICS / FRICS / APM / CIOB or equivalent Chartered Professional.

  • Relationship building skills ability to build strong relationships with clients, teams and stakeholders as well as an ability to build and maintain networks of business contacts.
  • Willingness to mentor and coach junior members of the team to support career progression and chartership.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and organisation skills.
  • Soft skills including selfmotivation; taking initiative; leadership, adaptability and flexibility; effective listening, collaboration; influence and persuasion, insightfulness.
  • Drive to innovate and implement best practice.

Desirable Personal Qualities

  • Site visits and travel within the UK will be necessary at times. Permanent access to a car and a full driver's licence is therefore essential.
  • Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to understand and analyse problems quickly and devise solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and manage conflict.

You will have the option to work across a variety of sectors, including infrastructure, retail, residential, healthcare, commercial developments, offices, etc.

£60,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
