Description

Responsible for assuring certification requirements across Product Lines for Flow and Analytical are maintained and extended as market or legislative changes require.


  • Ensure systems and processes are performing reliably and offer/implement improvements where possible. Fulfil daily support to production, Product Management, Sales & D&D to meet demands.

Description

  • Maintain approvals throughout the product lifecycle for existing products and ensure all declarations and approvals are complete and current for each product.
  • Maintain the Certification management system (database), all product and project certification files, and associated records and reports.
  • Regular reports on status of certification activities, risks and challenges
  • Host and support external assessment visits, both planned and unannounced. Act as main point of contact for certification bodies and customers, coordinate audits and assessments. Cooperate closely with approval authorities ensuring efficient planning andcosts of testing inline with business needs.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal auditing activities to ensure compliance, identify improvement opportunities and all corrective actions are effectively managed. Maintain calendar for internal audits & external assessment visits and report on status. Trackand report on status of N/C and OFI actions arising from internal audit or external assessments
  • Complete customer questionnaires with all supporting evidence
  • Periodically, support the calibration customer and / or Third Party Inspector (TPI) witness testing process
  • Act as the knowledge base for internal stakeholders and customers and coordination support to ensure all certification requirements are achieved.
  • Regularly assess impact of new directives and standards on MPUK and communicate changes into design definitions and approval processes.
  • Support PRU (Product Responsible Unit) dialogue and relationship with PMUs (Product Manufacturing Units).
  • Engage in wider quality assurance activity to support the business including, customer complaints, audit and root cause investigation.

Profile

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience of providing certification management support in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of working in crossfunctional teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT skills including, MS Office, database use
  • Project management
  • SAP experience desirable
