This role is known internally as an
Internal Communications Business Partner.

Are you passionate about communications? If so, you and your voice could be a perfect fit for our Internal Communications Business Partner role.

You would be joining our wonderful External Affairs team where you will support and develop key strategic prioritiesand internal communications plans to all our internal colleagues.


Where you'll work:

We operate a hybrid working model combining remote working with some days in our modern Leeds city centre office. Applicants will need to live within a commutable distance of Leeds.

What you will be doing

  • Act as the communications expert on major projects, developing communication plans and delivering against them
  • As the Business partner for select teams and directorates, you will develop relationships with key stakeholders and act as their trusted advisor / point of contact for the internal communications team
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to audit existing communication channels, including leading on elements of research and developing a new channel mix
  • Create content for, and take ownership of, existing business as usual communications channels
  • Develop briefing materials for the organisation as a whole as well as specific teams
  • Drive our content strategy by bringing new ideas to the table and story mining for engaging content
  • Create and deliver engagement campaigns for key awareness dates and celebrations

  • Demonstrable experience in an internal communications setting
  • Delivering effective communications to large audiences using a variety of methods (such as virtual and face to face)
  • Delivering a high standard of work on time and to budget
  • Managing and delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Experience in measuring communications and campaigns to demonstrate outcomes and impact
