    Information Security Analyst Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our Security team at Howdens Joinery, based in Brackmills Business Park, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent role requiring on-site presence for at least 3 days per week, with the option to work from home for 2 days.

    Main Responsibilities:

    1. Establish and monitor corporate information security policies, standards, procedures, and internal controls to protect business information, aligned with Cyber Security best practices and data protection regulations.
    2. Provide technical project support, representing information security interests.
    3. Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in ensuring appropriate security assessments are conducted within projects, while overseeing supplier compliance with Howdens' Cyber Security needs.
    4. Lead incident management investigations and conduct risk and vulnerability assessments as necessary.
    5. Conduct regular risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
    6. Engage with IT projects to perform comprehensive Security Reviews, communicating findings effectively and updating relevant logs for management.

    Requirements:

    • Tech Ops Security experience with a keen interest in governance roles or direct experience working in Security Governance.
    • Proven ability in problem analysis and resolution.
    • Hold a recognized Cyber Security certification (CISA, CISMP, CISM, or equivalent).
    • Familiarity with presentation and training techniques in IT security, as well as business continuity and crisis management activities, is advantageous.

    Benefits:

    1. Competitive salary range: £65,000 - £75,000/annum, plus bonus and benefits package.
    2. Excellent pension scheme with company contributions up to 12%.
