Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Logistics Agents. The company is a major Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.


Job Purpose:

  • Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock
  • Sorting and placing stock items onto racks and shelves
  • Picking items, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery according to a milkrun schedule
  • Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer
  • Cycle counting and location checks
  • Ensure that all information is correctly entered onto the Warehouse system
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Physical Receiving, Putting away, Picking, Packing and Inventory Control
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements with special attention to premises security, health and safety guidelines
  • Ensure strict compliance with customer service and quality requirements
  • Ensure that all service failures, damage, discrepancies and incidents are acted upon effectively and reported to Supervisor/Operations Manager
  • Demonstrate flexibility and team skills within warehouse facility to ensure consistent and uninterrupted service levels
  • To operate within a multifunctional, cross trained team to compliment the contractual obligations and client expectations
  • Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times to ensure safe working environment
  • Participation in warehouse stock checks and cycle counts as required/advised by site management team
  • Should be Flexible to Work in Shifts
  • Any other delegated tasks deemed as reasonable and assigned by the reporting Supervisor/Operations Manager

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Knowledge of WMS system
  • Reach FLT licence and Counter Balance FLT license would be an advantage
  • Experience with the Luxury Retail industry would be an advantage
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
Working hours are Week - 5am - 4.30pm and Week - 9am - 5.30pm

Salary:
£28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Heathrow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Knowledge of WMS system
