Description
STEM recruitment have a superb opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter with their successful client based in Irvine.


The position involves providing mechanical support to the manufacturing plant with an aim to maximise the efficiency and minimise the downtime of the site.

You will analyse the reasons for downtime and work on a plan of site continuous improvement to drive uptime.

The role itself will have a variety of duties including

  • Completing equipment fault diagnosis
  • Machinery maintenance and repair
  • Reactive and proactive mechanical maintenance
  • Completion of process improvements
  • Working on motors, gearboxes, drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Adherence to all Health and Safety standards
  • Completion of documentation
  • Any other adhoc duties as required
The role would suit an experienced maintenance fitter who is ideally time-served


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
