The working hours for this role are open for discussion but we envision either a 3 day week (8 hours per day) or 4 day week (6 hours per day)

Survey Express Services are a market-leading supplier of Survey and Safety Equipment. Operating from six offices nationwide we specialise in the
Hire, Sale and Service of Construction Surveying and Safety equipment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger posting of invoices, credit/ debit notes, cash and journal entries.
  • Overseeing the purchase order process, ensuring departments adhere to the correct procedures.
  • Matching of invoices to purchase orders ensuring that all discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements within time for the month end payment runs.
  • Responding to all internal and external enquiries regarding supplier accounts in a timely fashion.
  • Assisting with posting receipts and chasing overdue payments
  • Overseeing the accounts mailbox
  • Ad hoc tasks/queries which may be required from time to time
  • Previous accounts experience is required
  • Strong Excel skills and an understanding of data and reporting
  • An analytical mind and keen attention to detail
  • Professional and enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work
  • Highly organised and able to manage your own workload
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Experience in using Sage an advantage

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
£15,000.00-£16,000.00 per year
