BOOKKEEPER
Location - Blackburn
Salary - £28k - £35k
Simpson Judge are working with a technology company with the head office based in Blackburn. This is a temporary contract opportunity, for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced working environment.

A lot of the work involved is Bookkeeper level, however it does need someone with the experience of pulling it all together up to a trial balance level and then producing management accounts.

Please note this role requires someone who can start ASAP.


Responsibilities include:


  • Dealing with daily bookkeeping duties
  • Maintenance of accounts payable/receivable
  • Assisting with expenses, payroll & other duties
  • Completion of Bank Reconciliation
  • Preparing & reporting VAT returns
  • Identifying areas of improvement in current procedures

Experience/Skills required:


  • Experience in Sage 50 essential
  • Strong Excel & Office skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
