Job Description:


Our in house technical team create products for a growing portfolio of our own and licensed brands, which cover a varied range of categories, including fashion, performance sports, character licensing, core sports and fitness.


The technical team work alongside our designers to create innovative products that are in line with current trends, whilst always ensuring that we give our customers the true value that they have come to expect from our company.


Key Accountabilities

  • Liaise with the Design team to receive product briefing
  • Create, maintain and distribute accurate technical specifications with overseas factories
  • Perform in house fit sessions
  • Work closely with the design team throughout the fit process to ensure the product aesthetics are being achieved.
  • Maintain the critical path, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.
  • Issue graded size specs to overseas factories.
  • Work with overseas factories to process product through production
  • Work with factories to ensure quality standards are in place before the start of production.
  • Understanding of risk assessments and children's safety standards
  • Action and approve samples to proceed to bulk production
  • Ensure accurate test reports are received prior to production
  • Carry out inhouse QC checks
  • Continually review product quality looking at ways this can be elevated.
  • Fit/Block maintenance

Qualifications:


  • Will have a good understanding of garment construction and technical specifications across a variety of product categories.
  • Be able to work independently with the ability to multi task
  • Be well organised and have good prioritisation skills
  • Intermediate CAD skills for How to Measure illustrations (Adobe Illustrator)
  • Be able to create and maintain technical specifications/workbook on excel
  • Flexible approach to be able to adjust to the changing needs of the business
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong interactive skills
  • Great at building relationships and to be able to work as part of a team.
  • Fabric construction knowledge would be beneficial
