Mon - Thus (8:00am - 5pm), Fri (8:00am - 14:00pm)

The Role

A role has become available for a Project Manager (Electrical) at a well-established manufacturing business based in Loughborough (Leicestershire). The position will involve primarily managing multiple electrical projects on and off site. You will be handson with repair, troubleshooting and maintenance of their electrical generators.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of multiple projects
  • Own the project process from the initial brief through to installation.
  • Ensure the installation is delivered to the agreed specification, timings and budget.
  • Ensure any other targeted project success factors are met.
  • In depth knowledge and hands on experience of electrical construction processes.
  • Provide and drive effective communication with all key internal and external stakeholders building proactive and lasting relationships.
  • Ensure project plans, trackers and agreed KPI information are in the correct format, up to date and effectively communicated to agreed stakeholders.
  • Ensure the local supply chain respects all relevant health and safety restrictions.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Manager

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the UK without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Basic computer skills such as: opening, creating, and updating content in MS Word documents and Excel spreadsheets is required.
  • Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.
  • The ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with other individuals, teams, customers, and stakeholders of the business, at various levels of the organization, in a business like and professional manner is required.
  • Takes initiative and is proactive in addressing issues. Quickly and efficiently completes tasks.
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced environment with less definition, policy, and bureaucracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
