An exciting opportunity has now arisen and we are in the position to recruit Support Workers to work within the fast pace Crisis Response Service (CRS) offering a community response to those experiencing a mental health crisis.


111, option 'mental health' is an innovative public service revolutionising how we support our communities, and we need to grow our team in order to keep the phone lines open for those in a mental health crisis.

The CRS is a 24/7 service, operating 365 days per year. You will be expected to work 11.5 hours shifts (days and nights), across a 24 hour period.


You will work as a member of the MDT in providing high quality, evidence-based, holistic care to patients in line with your professional code of conduct and Trust policies.

You will support senior colleagues to assess, plan, implement and evaluate NICE Guidance packages of care based upon individual patient needs.


As a Support Worker, you will be expected to work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team to assess patients in crisis.

What is Staff Bank?


Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings.

Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.


All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.


If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank.
