Description

We are looking for a full time Dispensary Assistant to join our team in our Market Place pharmacy in Wirksworth.

The hours of this position will be 38.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (with an hour for lunch) and 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9am to 1pm.

The role will include:

Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Selfcare.
To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
Be qualified to NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services
Have previous community pharmacy or retail experience
Be willing to undertake the relevant training in Pharmacy Services if necessary
Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team
