Background
Saint Vincent Holdings is a group of company's trading in a number of varied commercial areas. The group owns an extensive portfolio of commercial property and development land throughout the UK.

Our in-house property team, Peter Colby Commercials, manages all aspects of the diverse investment portfolio, undertakes development work in relation to our land bank of green/brownfield sites and assists in the management of the Groups operational properties.

The properties within the portfolio are predominantly commercial in nature although we also manage one or two residential properties, almost all our properties are occupied but we have a handful which remain vacant; in addition, we have a large holding of commercial development land.

The Role
Reporting to the Facilities Manager.

You will be a leading part of a small team of maintenance staff who will undertake a range of repair and maintenance, decoration and grounds maintenance roles across the range of properties within the Groups property portfolio.

You will take day to day responsibility for the delivery of the work programme for the team and you and will be in regular liaison with the Facilities manager and the property management team.

You and the team will attend vacant and tenanted properties owned by the Group to carry out a wide range of repair, maintenance and refurbishment works.

Your duties will include (but are not restricted to) the delivery of the following:

- general joinery, repairs and construction
- general works to plumbing and drainage systems
- undertaking general repairs and decoration to internal fabric of buildings
- undertaking general repairs to external fabric of the buildings

• General small works demolition and removal prior to unit renovation
• Undertaking Renovations to existing buildings to change the internal layout of the building

- undertaking general repair and maintenance to services and utility supplies

• Meter Readings

- any other relevant roles which the Group Head of Property and Property Services Manager require to deliver the range of responsibilities delivered by the Property Division.

The role is intended to deliver a range of services and small works.

Where work required is too extensive or beyond the professional competence of the Multi Skilled Operative, it will be passed to relevantly qualified individuals or companies.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
