About the Role
We are seeking an Exterior Designer to join the business on a permanent basis, at our Crewe campus.

Reporting to the Exterior Design Manager and the Head of Exterior Design, the Designer will create design solutions for Bentley's new products in an efficient and effective manner, supporting the department and the Company's requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Deliver proposals and concepts integrating brand values and strategy in 2D, 3D and other digital media
Develop and presentation of formal and functional solutions using innovation and creativity
Creation of high visual quality designs to agreed technical and ergonomic requirements
Supervise design development proposals in house and in cooperation with external partners
Ensuring Product Emergence Process (PEP) is applied and followed throughout the process

About the Person
The successful applicant will be an Exterior Designer within the automotive industry. Proven ability to transfer designs, sketch's and ideas into alternative digital design media. 3D CAD software and Photoshop knowledge and experience are an essential part of the role. A degree within Automotive Design or similar experience are required for this position.

You will demonstrate:

Ability to translate a sketch into a 3D package
Skill to design and develop innovative design proposals
Effective problem solving skills using innovative solutions
Excellent cross company communication skills at all levels
A proficient understanding of feasibility and production methology within area of responsibility
