The Bexley Education Service is in partnership with a Sidcup based school looking for an KS3/4 English Teacher to fill a yearlong role within a big and bright Secondary school in Bexley, London.

The school are looking for a teacher who can deliver high qualityteaching and learning to meet the needs of KS3/4 pupils.

The role will be primarily focused upon developing English language and literature, marking, PPA and phonics skills in an inclusive and secure environment that promotes independent and supervised learning.

JOB Info:

Location: Sidcup, London
Position: KS3/4 Teacher
Type: Fixed contract to go permanently if desired after first month
START DATE: January
Interviews being held W/B: 12th December
Salary £140 £250 p/day
Is dedicated to the development of the 'whole' student and proactive in delivering a diverse curriculum
Committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for effective learning and is inspirational with an affinity for young learners
Experience with lesson planning and the ability to keep pupils engaged
Can involve and engage as a member of the faculty
Can provide PPA, Marking, Reports, attend faculty meetings etc
Proactive in maintaining and promoting the school values

REQUIREMENTS

Qualified Teacher Status MANDATORY
Experience and confidence working with KS3/4 Students
Right to work in the UK
Overseas police check in place (if applicable)
DBS on the update service
