ETEL Technology
Supporting over 800 locations including our retail centres, warehouses and dealership sites is no small task.

Our Technology department plays a key role in delivering a high quality service to ETEL's customers 7 days a week.

With positions in Architecture, Software Development, Project Management and Technology Operations, our Technology Team provides a complete end to end service to the ETEL business.

The role

Our IT Helpdesk Advisors are the face of the ETEL Technology Department, providing technical support to users across all areas of the business and ensuring that our colleagues can operate effectively.

We are a tight-knit, friendly team who thrive on providing an outstanding service to the ETEL business.


Whether it is helping to set up our new starters, or resolving a critical issue, your problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise your work will be invaluable.

**This part-time role is based upon 30 hours per week between Monday and Friday, which after a successful training and induction peridod will operate on a remote/hybrid basis, to include occassional time spent onsite at our ETEL Broxburn or Eurocentral locations.

Key accountabilities

  • Providing technical support to our users in all areas of the business
  • Troubleshooting issues and resolving problems as quickly as possible. Working with colleagues and suppliers where necessary
  • Fulfilling requests for new hardware, software and access to key systems
  • Occasionally visiting our ETEL locations to provide onsite support

Skills & experience

  • Experience of working in an IT Service Desk for Advisory role
  • Desirable
  • Experience of to Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Required
  • Good customer service and communication
  • Required
  • Exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory and Office 365 Admin
  • Desirable
  • Experience of troubleshooting hardware and software
  • Desirable
