At AVH Finance Team (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Anglian Water Group) we offer commercial and industrial customers a comprehensive range of independent specialist water & wastewater asset management services and process solutions, tailored to meet their needs.

We require a diverse and highly skilled work force to continue to provide a commercially driven and innovative service to our cherished and demanding client base.

To ensure we retain our financial integrity and reputation, we are looking for a Finance Assistant to join in our Huntingdon offices.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to lots of different parts of the business.


What you'll be doing:


Ensuring Anglian Venture Holdings finance functions are accurately processed, you'll provide a proactive and efficient day-to-day support service for the Finance team.


This is an excellent opportunity to work in an all-round Finance position on different tasks with a supportive team around you.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Process invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
  • Scanning invoice to invoice register for approval
  • Produce and distribute a range of reports to allow accurate business decisions to be made
  • Process cash, mileage and company credit card expenses.
  • Banking & Reconciliations
  • Credit Card Refunds

What does it take to be successful?


As our next Finance Assistant, we are looking for you to ideally have gained experience in all aspects of purchase ledger, sales ledger, banking & vat, in a commercially driven professional environment.

With the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in different ways, you'll be enthusiastic, flexible and hard-working and take pride in delivering consistency and accuracy in your work.
