Senior Gaming Technician - Digital Media - Higher Education SectorSalary range is £29,191 to £35,365 pa incl. £2,166 pa London Weighting A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Technician in West London - Education Sector
The role is essential in delivering technical and operational services aligned to the strategic aims of the University. You will provide support, advice, instruction and demonstration with a focus on digital media related systems and services.

This role is key in leading on the technical support for the Games Design Subject with specialist knowledge of software utilised for games creation such as the Unity games engine, the Adobe Creative Cloud suite with a focus on Photoshop (and ideally modelling),as well as knowledge of prototyping tools such as ClickTeam Fusion (or a willingness to learn them).

The role is a core component of the team and you will be working across IT, operational and technical areas.

You will be expected to provide day to day IT and facilities support as well as develop both projects and systems to provide and improve core services.

In addition you would provide event support for eduction activities.
Familiarity with Apple operating platforms and software is desirable.

You would be expected to be work directly with both staff and students and directly support teaching activities so would therefore require excellent interpersonal communication skills andthe ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
