Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact on young learners? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant (KS1) to join our dynamic team in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the growth and development of children in Key Stage 1, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the class teacher to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for Key Stage 1 students.
Support the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities, ensuring they are engaging and aligned with the curriculum.
Assist in the assessment and monitoring of students' progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents/carers.
Offer individual and small group support to students who require additional assistance, promoting their learning and development.
Foster a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere, encouraging students' selfconfidence, independence, and positive behavior.
Contribute to the planning and organization of school events, trips, and extracurricular activities.
Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, behavior, and attendance.

Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
A genuine passion for supporting young learners and fostering their holistic development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
An understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and teaching methods.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Requirements:

Relevant experience working with primary schoolaged children, either in an educational or childcare setting.
A genuine passion for education and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learners.
Basic knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching strategies.
Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Teaching Assistant qualification, CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
